The days are getting colder and time is ticking fast before spring gets here. You want to look chic but don’t know how to use what you already have? Stop stressing! That’s why we teamed up with Violet Boutique to make this How- To article. Even though we used the boutique clothes, you don’t have to buy more clothes to get that chic look your looking for. If you try layering those simply threads, you can turn that plain outfit into something fabulous.

With this layering How- To we decided not to do the traditional layering with vest, boots, hats, gloves and more. We opted for more simple statement making outfits. These looks we came up with have a basic “base” that just uses accessories and a strong outerwear piece to showcase our layering technique. A base would be your main pieces that make up the look. For example your jeans and top would be your base, anything after that is used for layering. Hope this gives you some styling inspiration. Check it out below.
